What we will do

  1. Enhance young people’s life skills, self and peer advocacy, and professional development by providing training and development opportunities.
  2. Partner with youth-focused health and wellbeing providers to deliver more programs and services in the area, including at suitable City events.
  3. Ensure youth programs are inclusive, welcoming and accessible for all young people, with targeted initiatives for groups who experience additional barriers to participation, including First Nations young people, culturally diverse young people, young people with disability and LGBTQIA+ young people.
  4. Explore opportunities to increase young people’s access to LeisureFit facilities through suitable events, partnerships and affordable entry options where feasible and subject to budget processes.
  5. Provide information to young people about available external emergency relief services and how to access them.
