Public consultation
Melville Talks is the City of Melville's online community engagement platform.
Participation in consultation activities does not guarantee that a proposal, suggestion, submission or item of feedback will be adopted, implemented or incorporated into a City decision, project, policy, strategy or plan. All feedback received will be considered alongside legislative requirements, strategic priorities, technical assessments, budget constraints and other relevant considerations.
Can your account be suspended or terminated?
We may terminate or suspend access to your site and/or account immediately, without prior notice, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. We may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all the related files and information in your account. After your account has been terminated, the content you have posted may also remain indefinitely on the site.

Recordkeeping and public records
Information submitted through Melville Talks may constitute a public record and may be retained in accordance with the City's recordkeeping obligations, the State Records Act 2000 (WA) and applicable recordkeeping policies.
Content submitted through this site may be retained for administrative, legal, reporting, audit or historical purposes, even where a user account is subsequently deleted.
Freedom of Information
Information submitted through this site may be subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act 1992 (WA) or other applicable legislation.

The City of Melville owns and retains all proprietary rights in the intellectual property. All intellectual property in the content of this site including without limitation to text, software, source code, pages, documents and online graphics, photographs, sounds, audio, video and other interactive features are owned by or licensed to us.
