What we will do
- Develop a plan to increase our following of young people via the Melville Youth Collective Instagram and other non-social media methods, e.g., youth eNewsletter, print media.
- Create a calendar of events for young people. Promote youth-specific events and Melville’s large annual community events. Ensure all relevant events are included and promoted to young people.
- Promote the ways young people can connect with the City for volunteering, work experience and employment.
- Increase young people’s understanding of the City of Melville and the Council, including relevant processes for how to provide feedback and complaints, participate in community engagement, and how to contact the City or Elected Members.
