Help inform future planning

The Riseley Activity Centre Plan has helped guide planning and development within the Riseley Activity Centre since 2015. The City of Melville is now reviewing the Plan to ensure it remains relevant, reflects current planning policies and continues to meet the needs of our growing community.

Whether you live nearby, own property, run a business or regularly visit the area, we'd like to hear your thoughts on what's working well and what should be considered for the future.

About the review

The Riseley Activity Centre Plan (ACP) provides the planning framework for the Riseley Activity Centre. It guides how land can be used and developed, while supporting improvements to public spaces, movement, housing opportunities and local businesses.

As part of its ongoing planning program, the City is reviewing the Plan to determine whether its vision, objectives and planning controls continue to support the community and align with current State planning requirements.

The review will consider how the Plan continues to support:

  • A vibrant, attractive and safe activity centre
  • Quality and sustainable development
  • Public spaces and streetscapes
  • Movement, access and parking
  • Housing opportunities
  • Local businesses and investment
  • Planning certainty for residents, businesses and landowners
