A report is being presented at the May Ordinary Meeting of Council regarding the future of the Leeming Recreation Centre (LRC).
The report outlines the findings of the recently completed Pre-Feasibility Study, which investigated future options for the facility. Council is being asked to consider progressing to a detailed Feasibility Study, including a proposed budget allocation in the 2026/2027 Annual Budget to support the next stage of planning.

Public consultation
Melville Talks is the City of Melville's online community engagement platform.
Participation in consultation activities does not guarantee that a proposal, suggestion, submission or item of feedback will be adopted, implemented or incorporated into a City decision, project, policy, strategy or plan. All feedback received will be considered alongside legislative requirements, strategic priorities, technical assessments, budget constraints and other relevant considerations.
Can your account be suspended or terminated?
We may terminate or suspend access to your site and/or account immediately, without prior notice, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. We may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all the related files and information in your account. After your account has been terminated, the content you have posted may also remain indefinitely on the site.

Recordkeeping and public records
Information submitted through Melville Talks may constitute a public record and may be retained in accordance with the City's recordkeeping obligations, the State Records Act 2000 (WA) and applicable recordkeeping policies.
Content submitted through this site may be retained for administrative, legal, reporting, audit or historical purposes, even where a user account is subsequently deleted.
Freedom of Information
Information submitted through this site may be subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act 1992 (WA) or other applicable legislation.
The City will manage personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and relevant legislation. However, information provided to the City may be required to be disclosed where permitted or required by law.
Governing Law
