Jim Ainsworth Reserve in Ardross is set to undergo a park and playground renewal, and we asked you to vote to help decide the new playground design.

Three design options were presented during engagement, each featuring upgraded play equipment. Community input informed the selection of the final layout and overall design to better meet the needs of local families and park users.

In addition to the new playground, the park upgrade will include nature play elements, a swing, improved path connections, mulching, and enhanced bushland planting to support a more natural and welcoming environment.

Consultation for this project has now closed. The preferred playground is option three. It is anticipated the replacement of the playground and the park upgrades will commence in May-July 2026. View the engagement snapshot below to find out more.
