Supporting better design outcomes for our growing community
The City of Melville invited expressions of interest from suitably qualified built environment professionals, with a preference for local residents, to join the Design Review Group (DRG), previously known as the Design Review Panel (DRP).
The DRG provides independent design advice on major planning proposals, including development applications and new planning frameworks. This advice helps applicants refine their proposals and assists the City in preparing recommendations for decision-makers. The DRG does not make planning decisions.
Members are expected to consider relevant planning frameworks and the 10 Principles of Good Design in State Planning Policy 7.0 – Design of the Built Environment.
