What is being proposed

A development application has been submitted for a six (6) storey un-hosted short stay accommodation development at Lots 1 and 2 (No. 5a/b) Macrae Road, Applecross.

The proposal includes:

  • A ground floor car park with one accommodation unit facing the street
  • A total of 32 on-site parking bays for occupants, comprising 22 stacked bays and 10 at-grade bays (no visitor bays are proposed)
  • 21 short stay accommodation units, comprising:
    • Ten (10) 2-bedroom x 2-bathroom apartments
    • Eleven (11) 3-bedroom x 2-bathroom apartments
  • A rooftop garden for use by guests
  • Vehicle access from 5 Macrae Road via a new crossover
  • Waste collection from 5 Macrae Road
