Business over coffee

Business over coffee

After a successful pilot series in October 2018, the Cities of Melville and Canning are bringing Business Over Coffee back to their local libraries, with a focus this series on Protecting your Business!

The free Business Over Coffee series is aimed directly at small businesses. Unlike traditional workshops, the series offers small businesses an opportunity to have direct access to business advisors in an informal Q&A style setting, where they can discuss and share real life challenges and problems as a group.

The autumn Business Over Coffee series will run for four consecutive weeks commencing mid-March alternating between the Melville’s A H Bracks library and Canning’s Riverton library. Each session will focus on a different aspect around the Protecting your Business theme, whether it be Director Duties and Governance, Mental Health, Cyber Security or Future Proofing your Business.

Attendees will be encouraged to participate and drive discussions by asking questions or sharing problems, challenges and frustrations they are experiencing in their business. The business advisors will be there to facilitate the discussions, as well as provide practical and general advice to benefit all attendees.
