Aboriginal Image trails

Immerse yourself in Indigenous culture this NAIDOC Week , 9 to 13 July 2018. Wireless Hill is a place of significance to the local Nyoorgar people. The Nyoorgar connection to the land, culture and beliefs are highlighted on the walking trail, Yagan’s Genunny. This easily accessible walk is suitable for all ages. Pop into the museum for a copy of the Heritage Trail map and enjoy the walk with whole family.

The City of Melville is partnering with the UWA School of Indigenous Studies to share Indigenous stories. Author, Sabrina Dudgeon-Swift will be holding two interactive storytime sessions based on her story, Lilli and Shadow in Trouble, a story of friendship, family and sticking together. The session is a blend of author talk, group brain storming and role playing.
